Note: extremely important. These scripts require HotSpotClicker to function. You can download that if you haven't already from:

Once you have downloaded HotSpotClicker, run the HotSpotClicker installer which will install the HotSpotClicker Jaws scripts.

Then, place the Ampero II scripts into your

Jaws/enu

folder

and the folder inside the Personalized Settings folder into the:

Personalized Settings

Folder on your system.

Tip: before getting started, please download the latest firmware for the unit that you are planning to update. E.G. if you are planning to update an Ampero II Stage then you will need to download the firmware for that unit. You will find the firmware on the:

Known issues

Note: extremely important. You will need to be in Global settings of the Ampero II editor in order for any of these keystrokes to work. To get to global settings, tab across until you hear Jaws say, "Global Settings". When you do, press the Enter key. Then, Shift tab back until you hear Jaws say, "Firmware" and press the enter key. Once there all of the HSC keystrokes will work.

The set contains a couple of buttons that you will need to trigger to update firmware on the Ampero II. Follow all of the prompts on the buttons to update the firmware. Tip: if you get stuck then you may need to dismiss the OK button off screen. That is done with the keystroke Alt plus Shift plus o.

• To brows to, load and add the .bin file for the firmware to the file path in order to update the firmware, press the keystroke Alt plus Shift plus b
• To trigger the update firmware button that will start the update process, press the keystroke Alt plus Shift plus U

Note: Left clicking this button will cause the update process to start. It will take a few Minutes and the unit will reboot twice. You should be able to see a status bar on screen when updating the firmware. Once complete your Ampero 2 Stage will reboot and you will have audio from the unit. If there is any firmware failure when updating then you can turn the unit off then hold footswitches 6 and 7 on the Ampero Stage. Then carry out the above-mentioned steps again.
